Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome everyone seeking support, regardless of the size of their
concerns. Whether you’re facing significant challenges or simply seeking clarity, we are here to help you find balance and regain control. No referral is needed to access our services.

No specific preparation is required. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease. During the first session, your therapist will begin by reviewing the counselling process. They will discuss confidentiality, provide background information about themselves, and inquire about the reasons that brought you to counselling. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
It’s common to have concerns about how much or how little to share during the first session. Rest assured that our therapy is collaborative. Your therapist will work closely with you to prioritize your concerns and ensure that the time is used effectively. They will tailor the therapy to your specific needs and goals, creating a safe and supportive environment.
We understand that starting therapy can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. Our therapists are here to guide you through the process and address any questions or uncertainties that may arise. Trust that you are in capable hands, and together, we will work towards achieving your desired outcomes.

The frequency of your counselling sessions depends entirely on your unique needs, concerns, and goals. We understand that each individual is different. Some clients may find resolution in 6-10 weekly sessions, while others with more complex concerns may require a longer period. Taking the first step towards self-improvement in a safe, non-judgmental environment can be incredibly comforting.
